This is my first LAN party at GeForce -- GeForce LAN and it's been like a tremendous experience.

So, I am assuming you entered few tournaments.

Yeah, I did. I -- one and two -- they had a small Intel tournament, for the new Intel Core Duo 2 Extreme, and I actually took first place and got me nice good $1000 CPU unit. So, pretty happy about that.

Pretty sweet. So, what are your thoughts on the GeForce LAN Party as a whole?

When I stepped in - BYOC, amazing place; all the computers, peoples have their own mod cases and stuff like that, and then they're - demons of the announcement of the 8800, which was a complete shocker. I remember back in the day, they were like 68, "no way, are you serious?" We hear about 88 were like "Ah, no way, serious?" And then it's here. So, yeah.

I mean what are your thoughts on the 8800 in itself. I mean it's -- looking at the demos during the product release, "Oh my God! They just look ridiculously crazy."

Chad "DJ Gooky" Dutcher - Gamer
Yeah. The demos -- I don't even know where to start. Geometry rendering lights, how they are actually allocating pixel shading and vertex shading. So, in case the pixel shading needs to be -- use more of the GPU power then they allocate the power there. What I did like in fare was, how the 8800 can now load geometry in like, real time, as you play or as you're in the game instead of waiting for load your end, and you can't go that big of a world. So, when I think about it, the 8800 just opened up an actual world for us to play on. I mean, you start at one point and you go to the norms, it's going to load the norms as you go, without any problems.

So, what are some of the games -- what are some of your favorite games?

Some of my favorite games; I personally like are 'The Quake', 'The Edmix' - like I can't wait for 'Quake Wars' - I wish it was already here. I'm getting into 'Battlefield 2142', that's an interesting game. So, pretty much the first (Inaudible) and its got 'Quake IV', 'Quake III' 'Unreal Tournament', and I actually wanted to check out the new one that just came out today, 'Gears of War' for the Xbox 360.

The 360, the game looks pretty crazy.

Yeah.

I haven't had a chance to play it, but from what I've seen on TV and previews online, it just looks stunning. Now Chad, what games have you played here?

Chad "DJ Gooky" Dutcher - Gamer
I am playing 'Donna' which is a Warcraft III map live for Warcraft and Quake IV, I have been playing with Missy, she's 'Girlz in destruction', she's one of the top female gamers. That's pretty much it; just been playing on a Quake IV since my -- that's my -- mainly my game. I've been trying to get in some battlefield but I hear like, oh, somebody comes up and challenges me to some Quake III, I am like, "Ah, you know, Quake right after that. So..."

From what I hear, Chad you are one of the top gamers out there from what I've been told...

Oh! I don't know who is telling you that. I don't want nobody coming after me.

No, we were talking about this prior to doing this Podcast that you're considering maybe going pro.

Oh! Yeah, I definitely want to -- I like to practice every night, I go home after work and I get on my computer for like five hours. I get five hours of sleep, go to work for eight hours, go home, pop on the computer for another five.

Yeah, it's pretty tough. I mean there is a lot of good players out there. I am not going just like put myself out there on the podium and then get triumphed.

VDJ Gooky. But a lot of people know me; Flint Aldin (ph) knows me a little bit.

We've actually -- PodTech, we actually interviewed him at E3.

Chad "DJ Gooky" Dutcher - Gamer
Yeah. So, I tried to talk to him. You know, obviously the guy is always busy, so I let him have his business time, but actually I went to CPL (Inaudible) and played the RocketBoy, I got dominated on RocketBoy. He's just -- that guy is crazy quick, but it was an awesome experience and that makes me keep going.

That what makes you get better as well, playing the top guy.

You have to play to top people in order to get better. Otherwise, you just play people -- you might beat them, but then you just might lazy, you got to stay on top of the ball.

Right, Right. Where do you see PC gaming headed? With this new technologies coming out, it's so fast.

Yeah, Oh! I don't even know where to start.

Can it get any better?

Not unless, you know, NVIDIA maybe takes like the CPU and throws in the GPU with it. That's the motherboard; it's just the card itself. So, I don't know where it goes, they are almost there, the physics card comes out, has come out and just gamers need to get that, in more games they use the physics and then the physics card and 8800 together, Windows Vista -- I don't know where it'd go. I'm completely stunned.
